Position: HL7 Programmer Analyst Location: Tampa, FL Duration: 1 year +++ Industry: Medical testing Job description: Responsible for day to day activities for developing interfaces using electronic healthcare data. An ideal candidate would have extensive Knowledge of HL7 data messages and professional experience with Microsoft C#. Minimally the candidate should have JAVA experience and a working knowledge of HL7 data messages. Possess the ability to break apart and reconstruct HL7 messages, experience using data mapping software to create or alter HL7 messages. Responsible for the end to end project management for interfaces; including user requirements, designing, testing, data validation and documentation. Provide technical support during implementation phase of healthcare electronic data interfaces. To perform day to day duties the candidate will be required to communicate verbally and in writing with external vendors, physician office staff, internal support and implementation staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
