We are a non-profit building a citizen centric Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request system. The system will enable the public to create userids and quickly create and submit FOIA requests to government agencies. The system will be fully automated to enable and track communication between the requester and the agency user. The system will also provide capabilities that track the progress of each FOIA request, perform workflow management, social media integration and dashboard reporting. The primary goal is to create an aggregate system that puts sunlight to agency information as well as the process. All information will be made available to the public (except personal identifiable information (PII)) so that over time efficiencies can take hold and duplicate efforts can be reduced. We are need End User License Agreements for both the requester and the agency user. The requester will be provided up to 1 free request/month. Additional requests can be purchased for a small fee (non-transferable). All requests are to be made public after a short grace period. There will be other premium services available. Agency users can create userids to manage the FOIA requests assigned to them. We will also offer government agencies the ability to subscribe to more system capabilities on a fee for service basis.
