Finance Analyst - minimum of 3 months
Our Client is a leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, wine and beer categories. There are a significant number of change projects which will shape the future organisation, processes and systems which drive the business performance in the group. This role sits within the team that works along side six major areas of the business, supporting project business cases, looking at ROI and the validity of new ideas. Job Description - Work with teams to develop project business cases - Provide robust challenge on project budgets including 3rd party partner costs - Work with Project Finance Manager to deliver the monthly reporting commitments on the project portfolio - Act as finance lead for project initiatives such as cash agenda, cost reductions - Carry out ad hoc analysis to drive value - Responsible for continuous improvement of the project approval and tracking process - Provide best practice coaching and advice on financial control of projects - Ad hoc accountabilities such as SAP Licensing financials and 3 year cost modelling - Senior stake holder contact with Business Relationship Managers, Project Directors and Delivery Leads Skills and Experience - Part Qualified Accountant (i.e. ACCA) or equivalent, with commercial experience essential - Experience from a FTSE 100 company extremely useful - Strong decision support capabilities - Previous experience of stake holder management / business partnering is key - History of excellent Business Case Development highly desirable - Analysis and modelling skills essential to include ROI and forward planning
