This candidate will be planning, designing, and project managing support of major infrastructure projects. In addition, s/he will provide enterprise architecture and capacity planning, statistical analysis, business process automation, and research and analysis of infrastructure issues. OVERVIEW: Coordinate and participate in the planning and designing of infrastructure projects. Provide planning, oversight, and project management support for major infrastructure projects. Participate in the evaluation, recommendation and selection process for major IT infrastructure investments. Perform business case and cost benefit analyses on various project and infrastructure initiatives. Develop and recommend standards for the design and implementation of IT infrastructure components to include hardware, software and telecommunications. Create and maintain system architecture documents and technology roadmaps. Recommend toolsets and utilities related to infrastructure planning, enterprise architecture, performance monitoring, and capacity planning. Participate in the development of a comprehensive risk management program consistent with the principles of the overall enterprise risk management process. Implement and maintain the capacity management planning program. Perform proactive monitoring, analysis and reporting on systems and network to identify performance and capacity issues. Develop custom reports from existing toolsets to provide trend data for analysis and forecasting. Conduct infrastructure assessments, GAP analyses, and provide recommendations to address deficiencies. Present recommendations and findings to executive management. Maintain current professional and technical knowledge pertaining to industry standards and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned.
