I have an idea for a web site similar to Groupon and Deal Chicken. I don't want to reveal details about the site here, but there would have to be a timer, a reliable and inexpensive credit card processing app, a mobile app eventually, and many more things I may not even realize yet. The person or company I'm looking for should also have marketing ideas on how to get the word out about the site, ie: Facebook, billboards, etc. I have the domain name secured. I'm looking for a local person, group or company, preferably in Okemos or East Lansing, that would have the time, knowledge and confidence to create a site like these and to partner with me and reap the benefits of the sales rather than me pay them an hourly rate. Ultimately, when the site is completed, it may have to be moved to a larger company that can house it and support it. We would have to have a contract written up about how much you would be paid and for how long as sales come in. There are also legal and accounting questions and licenses that would have to be addressed. Personally, I have a BBA in Business Management with honors and currently own a direct-mail coupon magazine franchise that I'm looking to get out of as more businesses are going to on-line promotions and advertising rather than print. I have lived in the Lansing area for 44 years (Tampa, FL for 3 years) and currently live in Okemos. I have over 1,000 business contacts in the area and those that I have talked to about my site that have done a Groupon or similar in the past like my ideas better. I'm anxious to get started on this. I have hundreds of questions that need to be answered as I put more thought into this site.
