Our client located in Janesville is looking for a Copywriter for a 6 month temporary assignment. Write product copy for client's general catalog and specialty catalogs while adhering to the clients copy structure. Maintain this copy in publishing database for use throughout company. Transform technical information into persuasive copy that drives customers' buying decision Work with catalog merchandise associates, production artists, and product teams to create effective product copy that best communicates intended message to target audience Responsible for ensuring copy meets established standards Create copy for catalog headers, footers, and fillers Proof and edit copy from other copywriters and departments Understand interrelationships of other Marketing Production processes (page design, imaging, systems) to identify process improvements Understand and become proficient in all phases of catalog publishing system software Requires a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, English, Marketing Communications or the equivalent. Three plus years of catalog, direct response, web or other related copywriting experience. Experience in a direct marketing environment is preferred.
