Diagnose and analyze system and storage related issues and recommend appropriate solutions based on knowledge of the appropriate systems and systems software. Must have administered NetBackup in large environments (1000+ users) and have experience configuring tape libraries, tape drives, NDMP, and disk storage units. Will provide application support and communicate periodically with users on systems status, including system changes, problems and enhancements. Perform planning and troubleshooting for Netbackup infrastructure. Support UNIX and Wintel admins day to day and team with data center operations, production support and escalation teams. Must be available for off-hour and weekend on-call rotation and have experience performing 1st, 2nd & 3rd level 24x7 production support on system administration, storage or tape backup environments with little supervision.
