Our client is seeking a Client Server .NET Programmer / Analyst for their Akron, Ohio location. Main Duties: Evaluate, design, and modify existing or proposed C/S systems to structure, access, and maintain complex databases Analyze database requirements of the user department, applications programming, and operations Test program code and analyze source and content of data Review, analyze, and modify programs / systems of moderate to high complexity including coding, testing, debugging, and installing to support the company's C/S software applications including in-house written applications and vendor purchased packages and interfaces Verify program / system logic by testing and correcting programs via test runs Analyze source and content of data Assist others with testing and debugging Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of databases Monitor and analyze database performance Maintain database dictionaries and support tools Write SOWs, provide project estimates, and serve as a Technical Lead when requested for projects of moderate complexity Assist with the development of detailed project plans and estimates by providing work breakdown information for assigned projects Participate in user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, vendor contact, and detail systems design Specific Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise): Bachelor's / Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Data Processing or closely related field 5+ years of experience in C/S computer programming and analysis or the equivalent In-depth knowledge of C/S and relational database concepts; SQL, MS Operating Systems, MS Office Developer Tools, Visual Studio .NET, and the following programming languages: VB, C, C++, C#, JavaScript and VB Script Proficient in use of MS Office Skilled in debugging programs and performing data and system analysis
