Type - Contract (6 months +) Location - North West Rate - �market rates Start Date - Mid to late June (latest) Computer Futures is currently working exclusively with one of our key client in the North West. Due to an expanding project portfolio my client is actively seeking a Java developer for a 6 month contract. The main purpose of this role is to develop and deliver a project-specific Java solution on an existing server application. The new work will provide a security wrapper around the existing network communications implementation. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience of working with a small, highly skilled design team, working towards very high cost and time performance targets. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the communications industry Key Skills Required: * Java * J2EE * Spring * Hibernate * HTML * TCP/ IP stack * Network security (e.g. SNMPV3) * HTTPS, TLS, JKS * SSL and other network protocols Desirable Skills: * Exposure to RADIUS implementations, * Knowledge of unit testing using junit/ TestNG and selenium. * Experience with the Eclipse tool suite (MyEclipse, Eclipse, SpringSource) * Knowledge of source code and change management systems (e.g. Jira, Mercurial) This is an exciting and challenging role, with one of the key selling points being that you will be using the latest technologies, technologies that you wouldn't get to use elsewhere.
