Logistics Manager Bradford, West Yorkshire Temporary Position for 2 Months (possible extension) £34,549 per annum Our Client based in Bradford is looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Manager to work on a temporary two month contract (contract may be extended). The successful candidate will have previous management experience, working within a logistics operation. The successful candidate will also be a self motivated individual who can hit the ground running. Responsibility You will be responsible for approximately 22 staff including supervisors, stores pickers, drivers and administrators. Background The company is currently going through significant organisational change and are re-designing all of their core processes and services towards a more customer focused method of working. Essential Criteria · Exceptional management skills · Relevant experience of managing medium to large size teams · Ability to motivate and direct personnel · Experience of managing change in a business environment · Supply chain and inventory management knowledge · Knowledge of managing a warehouse(s) · Understanding, experience and knowledge of logistics Desirable Criteria · Experience of managing projects · Experience of working in a systems thinking environment Candidates must be flexible with regards to working hours, be available immediately and at short notice.
