Finance Operations Supervisor
Morgan Hunt are currently working with a small Charitable Housing Trust to recruit for a Financial Operations Supervisor. This is a maternity cover contract, starting ASAP and to go on for at least 8 months. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: To direct, manage and keep under review the work of the Finance Assistants. · To manage the organisations cashflow on a short and long term basis including developing and implementing the organisations Investment Strategy. · To manage the organisations banking arrangements. · To ensure that all purchasers are invoiced on time and that debtors are appropriately monitored and pursued for payment. · To ensure that appropriate control is exercised over all the organisations income, expenditure, cash and assets including managing a system of service audits across all services. · To control the Purchase, Sales and Residents ledgers and investigate any anomalies. · Produce monthly debtor reports and update with commentary for the Director of Corporate Services (Finance & Infrastructure) to review. · Produce and review creditors report each month The essential criteria for the role are as follows: · Experience working in a Financial Processing environment · Experience training or supervising staff · Experience working with Financial Systems · Ability to work to tight deadlines and to motivate a team to do so as well If you have the above experience and are interested in this role, please apply by sending in your CV.
