Job Description: The ideal candidate will be an experienced .NET developer with a minimum of 6 years of experience using Microsoft development tools and practices. We are seeking IT professionals with an excellent grasp of the .NET Framework (4.0 and higher) and C# to lead a team in creating a suite of multi-tier, event-driven applications. Additional skills required include strong communication skills and client facing experience. Education: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field Skills Required: Good knowledge of user interface design principles Thorough understanding of the .NET framework (4.0 and higher) Top experience with the following: n-tier architecture development, windows and web services development experience, WCF, WPF, and XAML technically proficient in C# language Developing publish/subscribe event-driven applications Experience as a lead or senior developer on a production project using WPF and XAML Building control templates and custom controls for WPF applications Developing loosely coupled systems using dependency injection Use of the Microsoft Extensibility Framework Developing MVVM-based Windows applications SQL Server experience Experience mentoring others on these technologies Good verbal and written communication skills Strong problem solving skills Ability to provide high quality code for mission critical application High level of initiative and attention to detail Experience creating and working from UML analysis and design artifacts Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus Ability to accurately estimate and plan implementation of a complex design
