Position: Technical Lead Location: Pasadena CA Duration: 6 Months Position Overview: The Regional Team Lead for Infrastructure Technology services plays a crucial role within the Infrastructure Technology Services team, administering reliable end-to-end infrastructure system support and services. Required: MCSE (Microsoft Certified Software Engineer) Primary Job Responsibilities: - Ensure the delivery of Global infrastructure technical standards across the region. - Manages a regional team of technical resources that provide consistent and efficient delivery of technical solutions, includes effectively managing budgets and cost center and aligning with PMO processes. - Participate in the creation of a global technology roadmap and strategy for remote site computing requirements. - Responsible for maintaining the global asset lifecycle process for remote site computing. - Supports the technical support organization that provides business customers with timely and consistent resolution of technical problems, aligns with existing ITIL processes and service provider standards to provide continuous service improvement and delivery. - Analyze Infrastructure utilization to forecast infrastructure demand, upgrades and refresh. - Responsible for managing direct reports, employee performance plans and reviews, mentor junior technical analysts preparing them for greater responsibilities in the future. - Establish and manage positive relationships with staff, internal business customers and external IT service providers. - Understand Client’s history, culture, products, footprint, objectives, goals, strategies and measurements. - Remain aware of business, technology and sourcing trends, identifying opportunities for business growth and productivity improvement. Skills include: - Server configuration, installation and support of Microsoft windows server 2003, 2008, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Citrix server technology. - Installation and support of physical and virtual network servers and - appliances. Knowledgeable in VMWare technology - Network design and implementation of WAN and LAN technologies including switches, routers, traffic analyzers. - Installation of Storage Area Network (SAN) such as Netapp or VMWare VSA - Supporting a virtual desktop environment - Knowledgeable in Lotus Notes and MS Exchange server technology - Tape storage hardware and software solutions - Familiar with ITIL best practice - AIX, Unix or Linux experience a plus - Cisco, Microsoft, VMware certifications a plus.
