Cricklers on Facebook - Facebook ActionScript
We have a successful crossword-like puzzle app (Cricklers) that we would like to run under Facebook. The AS2 version currently runs as a franchise on 40+ online sites around the world and is served 20,000-30,000 times per day. See for example /wp-srv/style/crosswords/crickler/crickler.html. There is also an iPhone/iPad version. The puzzles are based on today's news -- so solvers typically come back every day to solve the latest ones. We would like help integrating the new AS3 version of the app with Facebook so that it can use Facebook credits. The current thought is that one credit would provide the solver with unlimited hints for the current session. Currently solvers are limited to one hint per minute. Cricklers already has a fan page and a group -- but we have not publicized the fact. A previously popular Crickler Facebook group set up by a third party seems to have gone away. We are interested in providing a forum for our players and generally using Facebook to help promote Cricklers. A large part of this job is knowing what is worth doing as well as the best way to do it -- given that Facebook is always shifting. Facebook says they plan to offer Facebook credits for websites (whatever that means) which would potentially allow Facebook Credits on our existing franchised pages (a follow-on project maybe?). Cricklers is a *very* complicated Flash program. I would like to first create a simple 'test' application in AS3 that does all the things we want the full app to do but doesn't include the puzzles. Additional required skills: (1) Working knowledge of implementing Facebook Credits (2) Fluent English. Desired Skills: Facebook ActionScript Keywords: Other IT & Programming, ActionScript, Facebook
