Long Term UTC Contract Assignment E-mail resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] Candidate must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident (GreenCard Holder) Job Description: Support Airframe Integration Team with primary focus on Digital Mockup (DMU) including model conversions, model exchange and DMU database configuration managment. Candidate will also support Airframe Integration Team with integration / design / definition of interfaces control documents (ICD's) and associated DMU models. Tasks include: DMU file management, conversions between CATIA and UG, DMU model quality verification, DMU data exchange to and from the Airframers or Suppliers. Additional tasks include, preparation of trade study models in support of various IPT's, create, update and release interface control documents (ICD). Preparation of engine installation drawings. Support preparation of production engineering change documentation. Requirements Education: BS - Mechanical Engineering degree or BA with appropriate work experience with DMU and mechanical design. Required skills: Mechanical Design experience 7+ years including Engine Controls & Externals, Nacelles and Engine Systems such as plumbing for pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Computer Aided Design CAD experience with Unigraphics and or CATIA v5. Experience with Product Data Management systems including Team Center and or ENOVIA. Experience with engine configuration management systems, especially processing of production engineering changes. Experience with DMU file exchange between companies, including use of FTP servers. Experience with design integration between engine and aircraft interfaces. Experience with definition / documentation of interfaces including both Interface Control Documents (ICD) and Interface Control Models (ICM).
