Position Type :Contract Business Unit Area/Function :Technology Number of Positions :1 Published Job Title :Technical Support Technician (3 month contract) Country :US State :Washington City :Bellevue Job Description :Technical Support Technician This Technical Support Technician or Customer Support Tech role is to provide expert, on-site service support for our customers, including problem diagnosis, analysis, and repair services (break/fix); installation support; product and system installation services; and technical instruction. Responsibilities also include delivery of comprehensive system maintenance, update and upgrade services. Responsibilities: 1. Provide telephone, email, and occasional on-site field support for unique Clearwire subscriber devices used by our Substantial Service licensees. These devices include ODUs, cameras, and weather stations. 2. Manage an in-house trouble ticket system used to originate and track subscriber device issues. Provide regular updates and reports as to the status of customer issues. 3. Manage third party contractors providing installation support of ODUs and cameras. 4. Act as an internal technical support resource for the Spectrum Development team. 5. As a member of the Spectrum Operations team, provide support to the engineering team as needed, including field troubleshooting on RF interference issues. Qualifications: 1. ASET, BSEET, or equivalent work experience 2. 3 years experience in the wireless industry; strong consumer electronics background also considered. 3. Superior verbal and written communications skills, especially with non-technical individuals. 4. Proficient with field test equipment, especially spectrum analyzers. 5. MS Office and overall PC proficiency.
