ROLE: .NET Developer - WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) New York City , NY (Newport Beach, CA) 3+ months IMPORTANT: - The client has given two options for location i.e., Newport Beach , CA and New York City, NY. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design and develop code in Microsoft WPF using Oracle 11 g database. * Plan work and tasks * Report issues and risks * Document design * Have technical design discussions with the client * Work independently REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience of designing and developing Microsoft .NET WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) applications. Should have done at least two Microsoft WPF implementations in the past. The candidate should have: - Hands on development experience of Microsoft .NET and WPF - Experiences of implementing MVVM pattern - Strong skills of application architecture and design on Microsoft platform - Experience of designing database model and writing SQL statements - Ability to have technical architecture and design discussions with client’s staff - Ability to figure out solution options with minimal guidance - Work planning and execution skills - Experience of leading small team of developers PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience of Infragistics, Telerik, Microsoft Silverlight or Microsoft Prism will be a plus.
