Electrician   Job Description Build custom control electrical panels for machine control Mount / install electrical components Wire components in the panel Wire from the panel to the hardware being controlled (standard industrial wiring practices for conduit)  Some sheet metal work required Some instrumentation tubing work required.   Requirements Must be able to read electrical schematics Must have a basic working knowledge of NFPA Electrical Code (wire size versus load, number of wires allowed in a conduit) Should have a working knowledge of relay logic Should have a working knowledge of three phase power Should have a working knowledge of ohms law Must speak English – bi-lingual is a plus (Spanish)   Must have their own hand tools Must be familiar with the operation of power tools   Work hours 7am – 5:30pm Mon-Thurs… Overtime often required (all shop employees currently working 5 days)
