Desktop Support Technician needed to join enterprise support team on a large rollout, refresh, upgrade, migration project. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): -- Be part of a team to handle large scale rollout, refresh, upgrade project in a Windows XP, Windows 7 environment -- Supporting users via a trouble ticket system -- Troubleshoot, upgrade, install and support hardware and software at the desktop level -- Maintenance of hardware and equipment -- Troubleshooting basic network and server problems -- Desktop refreshes, PC Imaging Requirements -- Minimum 4-5 years desktop support experience in an enterprise environment providing level I and II support -- Strong experience in Roll-Outs, PC Refreshes, Upgrades, Migrations ideally in a large scale environment -- Well versed in Windows desktop environments including Windows XP, Windows 7, etc. -- MS Outlook, Exchange support -- Active Directory -- Knowledge of MAC OSX strongly preferred -- Understanding of DNS, DHCP, WINS and TCP/IP -- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- Must be reliable, thorough and able to work in a fast-paced environment -- Ability to lift 40 lbs Past 3 manager references required Must be able to pass a Background Check (criminal, drug-testing) =========================================================================================================== KEYWORDS: Desktop Support, Technical Support, PC Support, Level II, Windows Support, Windows 7, Windows XP, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Level I Support, Level II Support, Desk Top Support, Desktop Support, Tech Support, Technical Support, Field Support, PC Imaging, Ghost, Hardware Support, Software Support, Application Support, Heat, Remedy, TrackIT, Roll-Out, Roll Out, RollOut, Refresh, Upgrade, Migration ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you are qualified and interested in this position, please submit your resume with 2-3 manager references.
