Web Application Developer Web Application Developer would work, as a part of a team, on the production process of dynamic and static websites, which involves page layouts, content formatting, CSS creation, and site integration into client specs. Back-End and application development includes, but is not limited to, Database driven pages and web forms, xml driven content, Database updates, and database reporting. Required Skills ● 8+ Years experience in web development. ● 7+ Years experience in aspx and .NET. ● 6+ Years Experience in additional web related programming languages (Such as JSP and/or PHP). ● 5+ Years Hands on involvement coupled with solid understanding of database structures, with the ability to create a DB schema, and manipulate data via complex SQL queries. ● Advanced experience in HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, AJAX and Flash implementation. ● Understanding and adherence to industry best practices and standards. ● Ability to design documentation related to the websites being built. ● Experience with Browser testing, knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility. ● Experience developing in a standards-based environment using version control software (Preferably SVN or VSS). ● Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. ● Ability to create specifications and requirements into functional web pages and work with the front-end developers to create the presentation layer for database-driven templates and web pages. ● Being proactive in identifying and communicating issues. ● Assisting management in evaluating project scopes for the purpose of creating time-lines. ● Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Solution Oriented. ● Knowledge and experience with SEO and SEM. ● Understanding of analytics systems code implementation (Omniture, webtrends, Analog, Google). ● Knowledge of- or working exposure to- HTML5. ● Proficiency in Internet related applications: Server configuration (IIS, Apache, TomCat), E-Mail clients, SMTP services, FTP clients and Web Browsers. ● Mobile development and/or Responsive web design are a huge plus. ● Very strong and clear communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
