QA Automation Analyst My client offers a uniquely flexible post-trade messaging and workflow system for the global credit derivatives market. The platform enables communication and electronic affirmation of credit derivative trades on trade date, greatly reducing operational and settlement risks. A truly open communications platform, it connects market participants including major credit derivatives dealers, hedge funds, asset managers, prime brokers, fund administrators and documentation execution providers. Description The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to build and maintain automation scripts for the GUI component and eventually aid in the Fitnesse script development for the API component. Responsibilities Automation of regression test scripts for the GUI component Perform automated functional and regression testing on all internally developed applications to certify them for production implementation Report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development life cycle Work closely with other QA department members to create/maintain the automated regression scripts Requirements Must have Bachelor's degree in CS or be proficient with a scripting language Minimum 3 Years of hands-on automation scripting experience Must be able to develop and build an automation framework independently Must be proficient with one of the existing mainstream automation tools (Only possessing record and playback knowledge is insufficient in this case) Knowledge of SQA methodologies and practices Knowledge of test script development Analytical and problem solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a highly demanding, fast paced environment Must be knowledgeable with the Windows OS platforms/Office applications Beneficial Knowledge of CDS business and industry Experience in Load/Performance automation testing Jython scripting Experience with Fitnesse framework script development Send resumes to george@gmsadvisors.com / george (at) gmsadvisors.com
