Position Summary Responsible for developing architecture for eCommerce applications that run on WebSphere Commerce Server, WebSphere Application Server and IBM DB2 database server Develops messaging and web service interfaces Advises application teams on development methods, environment and processes. Conducts application design reviews and code reviews Develops performance SLAs and reviews performances results and advises on performance tuning Responsibilities Should have at least 10 years of customer facing large scale Web application development/architecture experience with minimum of 3-5 years experience in solution architecture of eCommerce applications on IBM WebSphere commerce server and WebSphere Application Server Service Oriented Architecture experience with Web Services and messaging Excellent communication skills and documentation skills Experience with WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce Server 7.X or 6.x, Endeca, JSP, J2EE, DB2, SQL, Messaging technologies Experience with scalable eCommerce platform and performance tuning
