SAP data migration specialist should be able to perform data conversion planning and execution activities in support of new and current data migration. The Data migration Specialist will need to have experience and aptitude to excel in database conversions, SAP methodologies and data conversion tools and at least 2 full SAP implementations. Determining data conversion project requirements by analyzing client data Planning the data conversion process by developing project scope and specifications Delivering data conversion by mapping, migrating, and converting data Validating conversion by developing / conducting tests Responsible for the successful migration of data from SAP into SQL Server tables. Interacts with various team resources in the extraction of data objects. Provide regular communication of project plan performance and task issues Managing client expectations, communicating project status and issues, and resolving concerns 5+ years’ experience with SAP with a minimum of 2 full SAP implementations Must have a professional business demeanor, outstanding communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and solid knowledge of relational databases, SAP technologies related to master data conversions (i.e.SQL, Informatica, Cransoft) and data dependencies. Strong knowledge of software development methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Able to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Will work under direct guidance but should be able to start phases of projects independently and use independent judgment when necessary.
