Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The position involves all stages of QA/testing. Examples of work performed: Work with Business Partners and SOS IT to analyze and assist the Developers to debug TEAM. Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for large complex Java/SQL program (TEAM). Role may potentially include the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of automated test tools and strategies. Writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Participates in the testing process through test reviews and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Assists in developing solutions to software related problems. Will work with Java (J2EE)/XML development, Web-based architectures, Object Oriented analysis and design. Share technical knowledge and expertise with fellow team members.
