Our direct end client, an investment management firm, is looking for a Windows 7 Technical Analyst for a minimum 6 month+ initiative. The client is migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7 and virtualizing their desktops (including the trading floor). The Windows 7 Technical Analyst will need to analyze the current environment (Hardware, Documentation, Group Policy Object, architecture, service, metrics). The candidate will need to assess the current state (current state assessment) and provide leverage and support to team leads; provide technical documentation. Although this position requires someone with a technology background, this is also a strategic role, so business savvy, seeing the forest through the trees and understanding the landscape as a whole (how it looks today and how it needs to look tomorrow) will be critical skills.
