Position: Project Manager II Location: Los Angeles CA Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire Position Summary Our Client services include ad operations, ad sales, business development, research and analytics, video operations, design, hosting, project management, and product management. The Client’s Video Solutions team is responsible for fielding project requests from the networks, managing strategic digital projects, and maintaining effective client relationships with each of their Networks. Our Client is looking for a technical project manager to drive and execute several video related projects. This position demands a strong background in both technology and project management. As the technical project manager, your responsibilities include: • Creating and executing project plans for multiple projects • Managing vendors and cross-functional project teams • Facilitating team and vendor meetings effectively • Effectively communicating relevant project information to all stakeholders • Resolving and/or escalating issues timely • Motivating team to work together in the most efficient manner • Mitigating team conflict and communication problems • Setting and managing network client expectations • Managing vendors and ensuring on-time delivery • Collaborating with product management, design, and technical development teams • Coordinating across multiple teams, both internal and external • Planning for upcoming work and collaborating with the team on resource needs • Managing day to day work tasks of vendors and internal teams • Updating senior management on project and work task status Qualifications: • At least 4-5 years of experience in a technical project management role leading complex projects • Proven project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management • Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously • Able to manage cross functional teams consisting of product, design, and engineering • Proven management of multiple project stakeholders (e.g., internal core team, external vendors, contractors, business users, senior management) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent project leadership and team building skills • Effective communication and presentation skills appropriate for interaction with network clients, vendors, and senior management • Experience with a variety of project management methodologies • Ability to understand technical and design documents • Experience in a web/mobile development environment • Proficiency in MS Office tools • BS degree or equivalent • Experience with video content management systems preferred • PMP, MBA or CSM a plus • Experience in consulting or client services a plus If you are interested, please send your resume to jeanie.harris@ispace.com or CALL Jeanie @ 310-563-3843, to discuss more.
