Our Client has asked us to help them find a Talented QA Analyst for a 1 year Temporary Assignment in Norcross, GA. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for Quality control of our clients Mobile Solutions. Job duties will include, but not be limited to the following: create, execute, and test scenarios to include testing the product implementation, configuration and customization of branded iPhone and Android applications on mobile devices; actively participate in the creation and execution of test driven development test cases for UI integration and mobile channel services on mobile hand held devices; assist with customization and configuration mobile applications: create and carry out manual and automated testing scripts throughout the entire SDLC in order to validate and measure quality; create and carry out manual and automated tests on mobile applications for specific mobile devices; validate pagination, data input, content and user experience on mobile devices; support testing of internet client ported onto multi-device platforms for use on smart phones; work in accord with Quality Assurance, Development Teams and Business Systems Analysts on mobile application root cause analysis, debugging and research; install and run SDK's for Android and iPhone; track and report test results for the product's compliance in regards to functional specifications, tracking, reporting and reviewing test results and all associated metrics with management; collaboration with other software testers and application engineering developers. Requirements: The Ideal Candidate will possess the following skills and education: - Computer Science/Computer Engineering or similar technical degree. - 4 to 6 years of experience in the area of software quality assurance testing and web & windows applications development & testing using Windows 2008 server, .NET Framework. - Must have an good understanding and knowledge of Agile/Rup Methodologies. - Some knowledge and understanding of mobile applications development & test harness for smart phones is required. - Some working experience of database file structures, relational databases, web services and XML files for data source and storage is required. - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Must have critical, observational, analytical and quantitative thinking skills for mobile design layouts and rendering. - Candidate should have a more technical approach to testing mobile applications and be able to demonstrate some automation test experience. Required and Desired Technical skills: - Some knowledge and working use of SDK Emulators for Android and iPhone is preferred (some training can be provided in this area). - Must have Java, C, C# or .Net programming skills. - HTML, XML, Unix, Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2010. - RUP/AGILE testing methodology. - Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, Java, ASP.NET, Silverlight, Microsoft SQL Server, Crystal Report, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, HTML, Web Service. - Some computer graphic design knowledge is desirable. *Volt Workforce Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
