We are currently seeking for our client a ,' WINDOWS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (CITRIX) Schedule: 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift rotation Security Clearance: Must be able to meet the requirements to obtain a Public Trust Job Description: Seeking a Windows Systems Administrator. This position is a full-time position working closely with the Windows team, as well as the full aspect of the operations team members and Operations Manager. The candidate should have prior experience working in a 24x7x365 Operations support model. This position requires the selected candidate to support various shifts and Operations & Maintenance Change control schedules. The selected candidate will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, server administrators and end-users. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining systeam documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Coordinates installation and provides backup recovery support. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. The primary focus of this opportunity is Operations Administration of the Citrix Presentation 4.x Remote Access System/Service. The candidate will manage the current Citrix 4.x farm that is made up of a primary and failover environments in two separate data centers with a 5,000 user base. Duties also include managing and responding to the day to day tickets and incident management process. Required Skills: , Prior experience working in Operations and / or Engineering as a Citrix Administrator/Engineer , Prior hands on experience working with Citrix Presentation 4 platform, XenApp / XenDesktop is a plus. , DHCP, Active Directory and Domain Controller experience , Experienced with Software Distribution/Patch Management (GPO, WSUS, SCCM) for Windows Servers. , Prior experience working with HP Blade Technology and VMware. , Experience with Windows 2000/2003/2008 , RSA Authentication experience , Works well in a team environment and as an individual contributor. , Good written and verbal communication skills. Desired Skills: , Symantec Enterprise Vault experience (SEV Archiving Solution) , Understanding of TCP/IP and other Networking principles. , Prior experience working with VMware ESX 3.5 or higher. , Prior experience working with MS Exchange 2003 environment. , Prior experience working with SCCM. , Enterprise Backup Software (Synscort, Netbackup, Backup Exec) , Enterprise storage systems (SAN and NetApp) , MS Windows Clustering , Familiarity with ITIL, Windows OS Configurations, Capacity Management Position # 33550159 Please send resumes to email@example.com / 919-674-2123
