Our Bethesda, Maryland client is seeking a Senior eCommerce Design who will: Translate various marketing promotion concepts into fresh and engaging design online Work closely with internal project and business/brand sponsor Work with content strategists in the development of creative briefs Research the competitive landscape and audience online and offline Understand the company's style guide and templates library, and develop projects that meet style and technical criteria Understand the marketing and business objectives, positioning of the product and it's major benefits to the user Work closely with Project Manager to estimate time and schedules/deadlines, and to ensure project requirements and stakeholder business goals are met Work closely with Senior Art Director to ensure creative brief details, style guidelines and build feasibility are met Candidate must have: BA in Design or Fine Arts (preferably Interaction Design) 5+ years of professional experience in web design with an online portfolio of outstanding creative work Possess a passion for details and the highest quality work Strong organizational and time management skills Experience within a brand organization or design agency working on consumer-facing projects Ability to recognize a balance between creative innovation and operational feasibility Must possess knowledge of core principles in brand strategy and conceptual design Strong oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills including ability to receive and incorporate feedback; and ability to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML, CSS, (Flash, ActionScript a plus) Must be able to design within a pre-determined brand voice and demonstrate the ability to be flexible designing for multiple brand voices Well versed in interactive design within constraints of enterprise level CMS Strong interpersonal skills, organization and work ethic are a must Knowledge and understanding of internet production processes
