Kforce Professional Staffing is looking for a Director of Finance for a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This position directs all aspects of the financial activities of the FQHC, including the integrity of the financial systems, finance staff and financial health. The Director will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the center's budgeting, accounting and financial reporting systems. Responsibilities are: Directs the overall financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and auditing, tax, capital, and regulatory reporting Develops, recommends, interprets, coordinates and administers FQHC fiscal policies, procedures, and systems, including billing and collections, general accounting, payroll, purchasing, inventory, and governmental reporting Develops and evaluates recommendations to define or enhance key financial objectives used to evaluate organizational results Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Health Care Administration, Public Administration, or Business Administration, or closely related field. Master's degree and/or CPA is preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and program management in a healthcare or human service setting is required Knowledge of health care accounting and operations, leadership principles and procedures necessary for problem solving, conflict resolution and program planning development Knowledge of FQHC and 330 financial and federal requirements Knowledge of MIS requirements and computer hardware
