Technical Writer Position:Technical Writer Duration:3 months + (extendable) Location:Seattle, WA Rate:up to $50/hr (Depending on experience) Description: Technical writing of Work Instructions and Billing of Materials (BOM) using Agile Methodology. Producing documentation for the construction of hand held microscopes (circuits and PDAs) which are used to analyze fiber optic cabling for companies like Comcast and Verizon. Gather/combine/document 100 to 300 line items consisting of raw materials, sub-assemblies, intermediate assemblies, sub-components, components, etc. Offshore communication and facilitation. Communicate progress and percent complete. Attend meetings.
