Network Engineer-Dallas, TX (Plano) The Talmadge Group is currently interviewing with the intent to hire three (3) new Network Engineers to work on-site in Plano, TX. Our end-client is undergoing a major conversion, so our team will work a 7:00PM to 7:00AM shifts to prevent disruptions in critical business activities. Strong technical and verbal communication skills are necessary as your will be working with engineers in the field as each retail location is converted to the new system: Technical skills required to be successful in this position include Cisco Routers, Switches and ASA Firewalls Wireless networking and data network concepts IP Routing and Layer 2 switching Basic troubleshooting skills Other skill requirements: Fluent in Cisco IOS and switch and Router administration Fundamental understanding of DNS Understanding of Physical Layer connectivity for Ethernet networking WAN circuit troubleshooting Fluent with Telnet, SSH, FTP, TFTP Familiar with MS Windows OS English as primary language Other duties for this position: Coordinate with remote technicians for installation and/or troubleshooting of store networking equipment. Daily turnover status meeting and report with network engineering team Completed turnover sheets with signoff of all assigned tasks/steps per location.
