Job Function Responsible for managing, maintaining and improving key Information Security tools to help mature and improve the overall effectiveness of solutions across the organization. Evaluates emerging and available Information Security Technologies Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives Responsible for monitoring tools, detection, and identification of security anomalies and responding to them as necessary Performs complex product evaluations, recommends and implements products/services Monitors security audit and intrusion detection system logs for system and network anomalies Investigates and/or escalates security violations, attempts to gain unauthorized access, virus infections that may affect the network or other event affecting security Documents and reports event(s) Technical Skills: Experience with security or compliance tools (e.g. QRadar, Tripwire, Imperva, Vontu, Varonis, IBM Appscan) Experience working with IP networking, networking protocols and understanding of security related technologies including encryption, IPsec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, proxy services, DNS, electronic mail and access-lists Experience working with internet, web, application and network security techniques Experience working with relevant operating system security (Windows, Solaris, Linux, etc.) Experience working with leading, network scanning and intrusion detection products and authentication technologies Working knowledge of Linux bash scripting (perl, php, sed, awk,bash, ruby a plus) Execution Skills: Must have strong written and verbal skills Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business colleagues and vendors in global locations Ability to balance and prioritize work Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve network/operating system security issues NO THIRD PARTY CANDIDATES ACCEPTED ABOUT TEKMARK GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, LLC Tekmark Global Solutions, LLC (www.tekmarkinc.com) provides information technology, telecom services, and business solutions to abroad range of Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
