Required Skills: -Experience in defining, estimating and executing cost-effective test plans -3-5 years' experience in the following: Developing scripts/software in either Perl, Tcl, Java, or Python Writing tools that read/parse XML Tools and applications running under Unix/Linux SQL Unix/Linux shell scripts -Familiarity with http and html -Experience working in or developing tools/services in a services oriented architecture (SOA) Required Soft Skills: -Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and collaboration skills -Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently -Ability to work with testers to identify tool needs, find creative solutions, adjust based on user feedback Description of Services: -Report to QA manager and work closely with a team of tool developers, QA testers and software developers to define, estimate, develop, maintain, and refine software test tools. Tools will be used for testing software services, configuring test environments, comparing large data sets, and simulating system load.
