We are looking for an Oracle / UNIX Engineer to work within one of our Tier 1 Investment Banking clients, based out of Zurich. This will be in the area of IT Records Management, Archiving Management and Retrieval Systems Responsibilities: Reviewing Business Requirements/Software Requirement specifications Coding/Unit Testing Integration-Testing and test support Integration of in-house built systems with 3rd party software Technical communication with interfacing System Engineers Configuration Management UNIX Packaging Documentation (in English) Creation and tracking of installation orders Production support (3rd Level) Requirements: Must be fluent in English, with at least basic German knowledge Work experience from within an Investment Banking environment or similar Autonomous approach with a pro-active communication style Strong experience of Unix/Solaris Experience of Perl/Shell Scripting Strong knowledge of Oracle and experience as a Developer/DBA Ability to write Stored Procedures, PL/SQL JCS (Job controller) experience Experience in Configuration Management (Systems: Dev/UAT/Prod, Software: Packaging, Configuration, Rollouts) Please submit CV immediately to express interest.
