Kforce is seeking a Resource Planning Analyst for a San Francisco, California client. This position will support the Corp IT Portfolio Resource Manager in managing the resource planning for projects supporting the delivery of the IT Project Portfolio. This Analyst will be responsible for supporting one or more Departments in IT (Corp Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.) by allocating and tracking resource demand for current and future projects across the IT Portfolio. Key Responsibilities: * Work with the Portfolio Resource Planning Lead to develop a sustainable resource planning methodology * Collaborate with department Resource Managers and Technical Managers to manage day to day changes to the resource plan * Work closely with program managers to understand department resource needs, constraints, and priorities * Work with sourcing vendor on open requisitions and organize interviews and on boarding of new project resources * Facilitate weekly meetings with various organizations * Understand the roles and skill set needed for project workload * Track trends in resource usage and provide recommendations * Perform project/resource modeling and analysis for 200-400 resources * Create a holistic view of resource requirements across the Corp IT portfolio POTENTIAL FOR CONTRACT-TO-HIRE OPPORTUNITY!! Minimal Qualifications: * Excellent MS Excel skills * 2-5 years of resource planning / scheduling experience are preferred * Project management is a plus * 3-7 years of work experience * IT experience is preferred * Strong facilitation skills * Comfort with ambiguity in a fast paced environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Well organized and able to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously * Capacity to understand technical systems, functionality, and current technology * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Tenacious and results-driven * Highly self-motivated * Highly directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment * Knowledge of Clarity will be a plus
