Telecom Hardware Engineer Murray Hill, NJ HARDWARE OPERATIONS ENGINEER........Join the team that's transforming the way the world communicates! . Responsibilities include the following activities:• Ensure components are tracked properly between systems during transition phase• Review parts lists between systems and work with R&D team to resolve discrepancies• Ensure alignment between BOMs for new products currently in development that are still using the older system and component lists in the new system• Ensure alignment between BOMs for existing products and component lists in the new system• Work with Factory test teams to resolve yield issues.• Work with Field deployment teams to resolve installation and integration issues on newly deployed HW• Monitor field return rates and factory repair records for new HW deployments and proactively investigate any trends in HW issues• Project status reporting Qualifications• Minimum of 3 years experience designing circuit packs in an R&D environment using a corporate component library• Minimum 5 years experience troubleshooting telecommunications hardware/circuit packs• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills• In-depth understanding of HW development and troubleshooting processes.• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from software vendors to supply chain managers• Ability to identify project issues & proactively drive issues to closure• Ability to work with internal & external customers around the globe• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering management, Master’s degree preferred
