A top healthcare company in San Antonio is looking for a Systems Analyst to join their team for a 6 month engagement to support a major network integration project. Requirements: -Gather and organize information on problems or procedures. -Analyze data gathered and present potential solutions. -Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. -Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records and assure compliance with program. -Review and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose and to identify problems and improvements. -Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment and personnel used. -Document findings and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. -Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes. -Perform basic validation testing of applications and network systems. Skills desired: -Strong overall IT knowledge to include application support, networking knowledge and basic desktop troubleshooting. -Prior QA or basic manual testing (test scripts, validation testing) experience. -Strong system analyst background to include interfacing with both IT personnel and business users. -Prior experience working with a care delivery organization or in a clinic setting is highly desired. Other Requirements: -Candidate must be comfortable in a high energy environment and able to multi-task as needed. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -The position requires some after hours work, so schedule flexibility is required. -Travel to other locations outside of the San Antonio area is required but costs will be covered by the client.
