Job Description: Medical Technologist Employment Opportunity Tampa, FL Leading company in the research industry developing treatments for cancer, cardiovascular disease, and infectious diseases; Employing over 43,000 people nationwide and continuously growing everyday has an IMMEDIATE opening for a highly skilled and motivated Medical Technologist in the Tampa, FL area. 5 MONTH ASSIGNMENT Sun - Thurs 11:00AM - 7:30PM Location: Tampa, FL Salary: UP TO $23.00 (based on experience) Current Florida Medical Technologist license in Chemistry Responsibilities: *Responsible for performing routine and non-routine activities pertaining to laboratory testing and the reporting of results. *Performs moderately difficult to complex tasks. *Performs assigned analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner. Qualifications: *Ability to work overtime (Able to work independently on Sunday nights) - Overtime will be required at times to complete the day's production volumes *BS/AA in Laboratory Science *Preferred experience operating the following instrumentation: Siemens Centaur XP, Siemens Immunlite 2000, Beckman Dxi, Beckman AU 640, & Nova 8 Biomedical Even though this posting is only for a 5 month assignment I have seen instances where the client offered a perm position at the close of the assignment.
