Our client is looking for a Senior QA Analyst or QA Lead for a 6 month contract. This may extend or convert to full time. You will work closely with our Product Manager and development team to create and manage new test cases, envision and implement automated testing scenarios, and think like a customer with knowledge of the inner-workings of their Products. Your job is to bring a testing perspective to the table for every sprint. Frequent communication with the rest of your development team is a must, and your knowledge of automated load, performance, and stress testing tools is a great asset that will allow your tools to do the testing while you design the tests. They are an Agile shop in a dynamic field where new requirements can come in at any time and testing needs to be completed quickly. Required Skills 5 + years experience testing in a technical product environment for a web-based product, including leadership or mentorship of a small team or group Experience writing, implementing and administering standardized manual and automated Quality Assurance processes for an enterprise-level product company Experience with writing automation tests for RESTful web service testing Strong analytical skills and the ability to wear a "Business Analyst" hat Experience with Agile software development Care deeply about user experience and producing a high quality product Enjoy working closely with developers and users of the product Demonstrate excellent time management skills Excellent oral and written communication Nice-To-Have Skills Computer science degree or equivalent combination of work and education Load, Performance, and Stress Testing Experience using Groovy with usage of the SPOCK framework Experience with Java based applications, .Net and Java web containers such as Tomcat, Jboss, and SQL Experience using build tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and ANT Knowledge and experience working with cloud hosted solutions Experience working in a high growth entrepreneurial company serving enterprise level clients
