Windows Admin - SCCM R2, AD
We are looking for an experienced Windows Admin for a long-term assignment in Dallas, Texas. You will be on a team, yet must work independently. Functions: * Focus on internal Customer requirements * Develop understanding of business process being supported by assigned system(s) * Manage SCCM 2007 R2 (patching, imaging, and PC management) * Perform Group Policy Management functions * Provide Advanced Desktop Troubleshooting (Tier-3 Support) * Manage desktop security * Hardware evaluation / testing * Assist in installation, customization, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems developed internally and/or in conjunction with an outside vendor * Assist in evaluating and recommending emerging technologies * Assist project team / business customers in evaluating, developing, implementing, and supporting system architecture components * Advanced background and practical experience with hardware and operation system technologies * Advanced knowledge and application of patch and upgrade procedures for operating systems The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Microsoft SCCM: 3-5 years of experience * Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) * MS SQL Reporting: ability to write custom reports from MS SQL using SMS / SCCM Schema * Microsoft AD: 3-5 years of experience * Advanced PC Operating System troubleshooting (Windows and Mac): 5 years of experience * Process Automation / Scripting: proficiency with scripting or automating toolsets (WinBatch, PowerShell, AutoIt, VB, .NET, etc.)
