Large client seeks an Internet Engineer/Network Engineer to join their team. This team is responsible for Project Rollouts, Network Maintenance and Support, Trouble Resolution, and SLA maintenance for a large, global environment. Position will support various projects to enhance & expand the network, including hardware quote acquisition, project implementation, testing, hardware and cabling infrastructure installation, and detailed documentation. The selected individual must demonstrate excellent customer service & team skills and will be required to routinely interact directly with customers, and to participate in & foster a 'team environment.' This position will frequently be called upon to diagnose network performance problems and interact with application support teams to diagnose network / application performance issues, especially those associated with DNS, DHCP, Firewall, Proxy and Load Balancing services. This position operates in a 7x24x365 SLA driven environment. Required Skills: - Load Balancers - Cisco CSS, F5, Local Director, or Cisco Content Engine - Proxy Services - Able to diagnose web based applications and problems (Cisco Content Engines) - Experience in network design and troubleshooting; Internet infrastructure, Local Area Network, Wide Area Networks, and WWW Hosting/E-Commerce type environments - Enterprise level network Internet, WAN, LAN troubleshooting and support experience. - Working familiarity & experience with Cisco routing hardware, software, protocols, etc. - Strong working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities - (Preferred) Firewall experience - (Checkpoint, CISCO, Juniper) Configuration, Troubleshooting and Support of mid to large network environments - (Preferred) Operating systems - knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems - (Preferred) working experience and talent in using packet / protocol analyzers to find and remedy application and network performance issues. - Ability to work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor,, and as a participant in a team environment. - Positive, proactive, 'can do' attitude. - 4+ Years Internet / WAN / MAN / LAN Network Engineering is REQUIRED. - Professional Experience at an Enterprise Level in Network solutions is REQUIRED - Router, Switch and IP Configuration Experience is REQUIRED. Specific Requirements: - Internet/Enterprise advanced services - DNS, DHCP, SMTP (REQUIRED) - IP, DHCP, DNS administration experience (REQUIRED). - (Preferred) College degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering (or related technical degree). - (Preferred) Significant progress toward technical certifications (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, etc.) If you are not a U.S. Citizen, please indicate you current work status (e.g. Green Card, EAD, etc.) Please note that we can not sponsor H1-B visas or work through a third party with them.
