Measuring square footage of floor plans - Data Entry Computer
I need to measure the area (in square feet) of several hundred public schools, room-by-room. I have digital files of the floor plans. I need to calculate the square feet of every single room. I can send you the software for a program called Takeoff Live, which makes these calculations for you. It's an easy program to learn - I myself am NOT too adept at computers and I learned how to use the program in 30 minutes. There are probably other software programs out there that also perform this function, although Takeoff Live seems to do the job well and easily. To record the square footage, the simplest way would be to simply type the number of sq. ft. onto the jpeg file using either Microsoft Paint or, if you have it, Photoshop. Alternatively, you could just put the numbers in a simple Excel file with two columns: one column has the name of the room (eg. "Classroom 202" or "Janitor Closet") and the other column has the square feet. If you work quickly, you could do 3 floor plans per hour, which is the goal. In total, I need these calculations for about 300 floor plans. So it could be about 100 hours of work, although there is great flexibility with time. It is not a hard job, but requires attention to detail. I will first look at the lowest bidder. Desired Skills: Data Entry Computer Keywords: Data Entry, Data, Entry, Computer
