Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work for a well established client based in the Teesside area. Responsibilities: Liaising with the Project Management in all aspects of contract administration and Quantity Surveying Advise on contract interpretation including analysing client's specifications and drawings Ensure the proper preparation and documentation of all information recording events as background to future claims, review advise and draft letters on contractual correspondence To be actively involved in contractual negotiations of sub-contract agreements Attend meetings with clients and participate in all contractual aspects of projects, including claims, final accounts, variations and contract interpretation and preparation of variation orders, trend notices, claims, and negotiations of the same. Applicants should have: Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience Project controls experience within theOil & Gas / Petrochemical Construction industry sector experience with a proven background in contract administration Self-motivated, hardworking and able to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English. A high degree of commercial acumen Flexible approach to travel Excellent organisational time management and organisational skills In return our client offers an excellent package and the salary is negotiable depending on experience.
