Job description: The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of software design patterns, a clear understanding of web and system security issues and designing for best application performance. Required Skills: 5 + years professional IT experience 3+ years experience performing as a developer using Ruby on Rails Experience with Agile development techniques Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby/Rails, Java, NoSQL (MongoDB), Search Engine (MS FAST) Thorough understanding of the (SDLC) software development lifecycle Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work quickly and to tight deadlines Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills Must be "self-motivated" as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems Must be a team-player Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines BS or MS in Computer Science or technical equivalent Please remember the following when submitting: I need the following Info: Very, Very important: Please always list the candidate’s name and the req you are submitting to in the subject line, Example: John Doe – Client – Job Title Please include the following information in the body of the email with every submittal; 1)Full Name including middle initial – just as it appears on the driver’s license / passport / visa – also, please make sure the same name is on the resume.
