Job Description: WebSphere Administrator Responsibilities will be to build, tune and deploy into WebSphere Application Server (WAS). . Responsible for installation and maintenance of systems, subsystems, and related products. Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements components, software tools, and utilities with full competency. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Makes modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. Coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs. Looking for expertise in one of the following areas: WAS ADMINISTRATOR - WAS 6.0, 6.1, 7.0 - Unix OS (AIX preferred, linux beneficial) - WAS Administration - WAS scripting (JACL or Jython) - WAS Clustering - WebSphere Application Server certification preferred Administrator position will need experience in Unix environment, Unix shell scripting, large corporate Change Management Process. Preferred Qualifications: 5 years experience Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : 1. Websphere 7 (Websphere base or MD) 2. Shell/UNIX scripting 3.
