QA analyst - with HIPAA IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW MALVERN, PA This position, under direct supervision, provides quality assurance (QA) of all internal programming development initiatives for electronic billing to payers using 837 transactions, billing templates in company billing system, and proprietary coding changes within claim management software. The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Complete quality assurance testing on proprietary coding changes for ePremis, the company’s claim management software, changes or updates to bill templates within the billing system, program updates or releases by the EDI Development Team or software vendors in a timely manner Assist the team lead in streamlining and improving processes by providing feedback and writing updated policy and procedures Participate in regression testing of Focus/ePremis releases quarterly, or as often as vendor makes releases available Document QA results thoroughly in HP Quality Center and ensure that all back up documentation is attached to the Starteam task. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures Skills: Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with Windows/Oracle/Web-based environments required Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications including Access required Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA 837 transaction structure Basic understanding of building test scripts required Basic understanding of programming logic preferred Minimum 1 year medical billing experience preferred Basic knowledge of ePremis and Bridge Routines preferred. Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities with shifting time frames, and meet tight deadlines; self-starter with high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow through · Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and within a team and to foster a positive work environment Demonstrated exactness in attention to detail Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to perform successfully the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position. Vision adequate to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of position including repetitive use of computer monitor. Ability to use computer keyboard and peripherals to accomplish required tasks in a timely manner is a core requirement of this position. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required College degree strongly preferred
