Hi there, I am looking for an experienced freelance handbag designer to design a signature, functional and stylish travel handbag. Also to oversee the production of a prototype and potentially mass manufacturing. If this goes well, we would be happy to work with you on a series of handbag designs thereafter. Please let me know your experience and rates for each of the phases listed or if a particular phase does not apply. Phase 1 -- design - to mock up a few rough sketches (at least three) to be sent via email from which the final design will be chosen to fully spec up with refinements - full spec packs for the final design including all measurements, hardware details, label placement, etc - details should be enlarged with full measurements - spec packs to be clear and ideally in illustrator or photoshop format - details on material, weight composition and pantone references to be included Phase 2 -- prototyping - to handle the prototyping of the handbag to satisfaction (Phase 3 - overseeing manufacturing - if the first two phases go well and you have experience in overseeing manufacturing and quality assurance, we will be happy to take this further in overseeing the mass manufacturing of this bag) About the bag: - target customer: female professional mid-20s to 40s - specific functions with emphasis on usability with style (e.g. reversibility for two colors, removable pouches, extremely lightweight, etc) - the design should be in a classic style with a bit of edge (e.g. alexander wang/ balenciaga/ rebecca minkoff) - a full brief with detailed direction will be given upon selection Feel free to ask me any questions if anything is not clear or you need more details.
