Yoh has a contract opportunity for a .NET / SQL Server / Developer to join our client in St. Louis, MO. Job Responsibilities: - Develops, maintains and supports the SQL Server database environment. - Builds GUI front end interfaces using ASP.NET, C# and related scripting languages. - Participates in projects relative to the design and implementation of physical database objects. - Provides guidance to developers on their data access needs. - Works with systems administration on hardware and operating system level requirements in support of the deployed database software. - Proposes ways to improve the environment. - Leads and participates in medium to large projects requiring analysis and design skills. - Client is in the process of upgrading their workstations to Windows 7. - To accomplish this, they are using some discovery tools to help them understand the number and types of applications installed in their environment as well as the application compatibility. - In addition to this they need to test their applications for compatibility. - The candidate hired will need to help them build a database that has a front end interface as well as reporting capabilities. Job Qualifications: - Creating dashboards and web-based user friendly front-enter interface for SQL databases using ASP.NET, C#, and other fornt end scripting languages. - Creating queries and reports. - SQL Development - ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints). - Able to import and export data from external SQL databases. - Able to merge multiple databases into a single repository. - Able to provide solutions and process improvement analysis. - Knowledge of TransactSQL , SQL Server Reporting Services, PHP and IIS. - Solid business analysis skills. - The candidate should also possess the following traits: - Enjoy working with others in a team atmosphere.
