Description Looking for a self-motivated individual to perform initial quality assurance testing in a software development environment Works directly with developers and BA’s to form a solid understanding of both the business and technical side. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, creating reusable test data, test case automation, and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Documents all problems and assist in their resolution. Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. Investigate customer problems referred by technical support. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
